About Dr. Kevin Bigelow
A board–certified urologist and founding member of his practice, Dr. Bigelow has practiced in Arizona since 2008. He graduated with honors in biochemistry from the University of Chicago, and earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, graduating with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. Dr. Bigelow completed his general surgery and urology training at Weil-Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He focuses on all aspects of general urology, specializing in the evaluation and management of cancers of the genitourinary tract. Dr. Bigelow is an expert in robotic and minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of benign and malignant urologic diseases. He has contributed to extensive research in prostate cancer and the use of robotic surgical techniques and its outcomes. He also trains urologists interested in robotic and minimally invasive urologic surgery.
Dr. Bigelow completed urology training from Cornell University, Weill Medical College in New York. He has advanced training in Da Vinci robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the prostate and kidney from world renowned robotics experts Dr. Ash Tewari at Cornell, and Dr. Bertrand Guillonneau at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
Dr. Bigelow was raised in Rochester, NY, and earned a Bachelor of Science with honors in Biochemistry from The University of Chicago. He then graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from The University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine.
